Because it is a federal state, in Switzerland, each canton has regulations and organisations able to make its own connections with economic entities in other countries. However, there is a tendency to combine these efforts by setting up specialised associations, including the cantonal chambers of commerce and industry in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Among them, the most representative are: ​

• State Secretariat for Economic Affairs - SECO -  the federal ministry responsible for all economic issues and labor market policies.  

• ICC Switzerland  - Swiss National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce, represents Swiss companies in relation to the international business environment.

• The Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry - CCIS, is the association of 19 cantonal and regional chambers of commerce in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

• SwissCham , the Association of Swiss Foreign Trade Chambers, founded in 1935, promotes exports and economic presence  Swiss abroad.  

• The Chamber of Commerce Switzerland - Central Europe (SEC) is a non-profit organization responsible for economic relations with 17 Central and Eastern European (EEC) countries.  

• Economiesuisse - is the federation of Swiss business, with the stated purpose of maintaining Switzerland as a business center based on the principles of the liberal market economy.  

• Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE),  is the official Swiss export and investment promotion organization, with offices in both Switzerland and 31 countries.

• The Chamber of Commerce Switzerland (Romania, CCE-R) is a non-profit association, established in December 2000 and supported by the Swiss Embassy in Romania. CCE-R is the SEC partner in Romania, a member of SwissCham and a collaborator of S-GE, all located in Zurich, Switzerland.

• The Swiss Economic Forum (SEF)  is the most important Economic Conference in Switzerland. 

• https://oportunitati-ue.gov.ro - the information platform of the Ministry of European Investments and Projects. The information within this platform is oriented towards the Beneficiaries of European funds, in their direct interest and in order to be able to support any need for funding, be it through operational, community or national programs. The platform is also linked to the Funding & Tender Opportunities portal and will ensure the existence of databases with information on projects submitted for funding from EU programs, as well as information on potential partners from EU Member States.
